| Jomsom Small Hydropower Project: |

Swet Bhairab took over complete management
including operation, maintenance, transmission,
and distribution of Jomsom SHP from Nepal Electricity
Authority (NEA) for 20 years lease by signing
an agreement to be effective from Dec. 16 1993. |

Swet Bhairab has upgraded the Jomsom plant
in the following ways: |

Completed the extension of transmission line
from Jomsom to Kagbeni. |

Supplied the electricity to Kagbeni area. |

Studied the load survey and feasibility of CFL
lamps in J.V. with Winrock International. |

Repaired the canal and other structures of the
plant many times as required. |

Procured all the parts for the repair of governor.
Within short period the governor will be repaired
(which was not working from day 1 of the plant
start). |

It has replaced many vital electro-mechanical
parts of the plant to run it smoothly and efficiently. |

It has replaced more than 100 wooden poles by
steel poles. |

Replaced two 25 kVA transformers and added one
100 kVA transformer. |
